The KS2 children had a great time at the village hall on Tuesday and looked splendid in their party outfits.
KS1 also enjoyed a visit from Father Christmas who landed with a sack full of lovely presents. The children met Santa in small groups in the festively decorated library and were delighted with their gifts.
Christmas lunch
Thank you for making our Christmas meal very special. The lunch boxes were fabulously decorated and contained exciting Christmas food.
Everyone had an enjoyable time including the Y6 children who tidied and swept the hall whilst giving a marvellous rendition of the “12 Days of Christmas”!
Mulled wine
Visitors to the school for our Mulled Wine and Mince Pie morning enjoyed viewing the festive displays and listening to the children singing carols. Everyone had a lovely time.
Coffee Morning Mums will be meeting on the first Friday of next term. Louise Towe have details of time and venue. Pop along and enjoy pleasant company, coffee and cake. Alderton Acorns
On Thursday, Mrs McMurray and Mrs Braham were invited to watch the pre-school play in the village hall. They joined lots of mums and dads to enjoy the wonderful Christmas presentation.
