Christmas Nativity 2007
This will be taking place in St Peter's Church, Dumbleton onTuesday 11th December and Wednesday 12th December
at 6pm. We would like all the children to take part and hope that you will be able to join us for this very special occasion. There will be more news regarding rehearsals in later editions of School News.
KS2 choir and orchestra
The children who are singing in the choir and playing in the orchestra for our Nativity will need to come to rehearsals each Tuesday lunchtime. This means that they can leave their instruments in school overnight or remember to bring them back the following day. As December approaches, we might also have one or two rehearsals on a Thursday, but the children will be told well in advance.
School Uniform
Please ensure that your child?s uniform is labelled with their name.
There is a huge mound of un-named and un-claimed sweatshirt, shirts, shorts etc. These will be put out in the hall next Tuesday for you to look through if your child is missing an item of clothing. Many thanks.
A Reminder
A reminder that the Alderton base is open from 8.40am and that children should be in the playground ready for the bell at 8.50am.
Coffee Morning
On the first Friday of every month, you are very welcome to go along to Dumbleton fine foods and join other mums for a cup of coffee and a chat. There could be a Danish pastry or a selection of yummy biscuits too. The first of these coffee mornings has just taken place but there will others for you to go along to. ENJOY!
Christmas Fayre
Friday 14th December 6pm until 8pm.
Non uniform day
Monday 3rd December
Fancy Dress day
Monday 10th December in exchange for donations
towards the fayre.
School Association Events
The next exciting event will be the Craft Morning. This will be held on
Saturday 3rd November from 10am until 12.30pm in the school hall, Alderton. LOTS of lovely things to make and do.
