BOOK FAIR
Thank you for supporting our Book Fair. We raised £415 which will buy books for use in school. THANK YOU.
Dance
The KS2 children have all enjoyed dance sessions with Sarah Shaw.
TECHNIQEST
The Y1 and Y2 had a fantastic visit to the Science centre in Cardiff yesterday. The weather was perfect for an Autumnal visit to the capital of Wales and they enjoyed the presentations and hands on exhibitions when they got there. Thank you to the parents and staff who accompanied them and in particular to Mrs Gill who arranged this very successful visit.
Holidays
The children return to school on Tuesday 30th October.
Reception visit to the KS2 base
The Reception children had a lovely day at the Alderton base on Thursday. They made dough faces, bags for their Diwali pots, hats and shape people pictures. The KS2 children were very kind to them at lunch time and had a great game of Hokey Kokey.
Shirts for Painting
If you are clearing out your wardrobes, we would appreciate any long sleeved, adult shirts that the KS2 children can use as painting aprons. Thanks.
The School Travel Plan
Thank you for your replies.
Coffee Morning
On the first Friday of every month, you are very welcome to go along to Dumbleton fine foods and join other mums for a cup of coffee and a chat. There could be a Danish pastry or a selection of yummy biscuits too. The first of these coffee mornings will take place on Friday 2nd November. Pop along and enjoy!
School Association Events
The next exciting event will be the Craft Morning. This will be held on Saturday 3rd November from 10am until 12.30pmin the school hall, Alderton.
LOTS of lovely things to make and do.
Bonus Ball
At the moment there are a few numbers available for this competition. If any one would like to buy one of these numbers, please get in touch with any member of the SA and they will be able to help. The money that is raised through this area of fundraising is usually spent on computers and related products.
