Reception class ready for full time school next week.
School Association
School Association will be holding their AGM on Thursday 20th September at 7.45pm in the school hall at Alderton. There will be a selection of yummy puddings for you to sample.
School Photographer
The children will be having individual and family photographs taken on Wednesday 26th September. He will be at KS1 base from 8.30am and will then go to the KS2 base at approximately 10.30am.
All family groups will be taken first in order for you to take any KS2 children back to the junior base for the start of their school day. Pre-School children are very welcome to come along and be photographed with their siblings. Please don't hesitate to talk to a member of staff if you need any more information.
Harvest Festival
Harvest Festival will be held in St Peter's Church Dumbleton on Friday 5th October. Time tobe confirmed.
Congratulations to the new House Catpains and Vice Captains.
House Collages
Next Tuesday, the Reception children will be placed in their houses during our whole school assembly. Sadly, we do not have a Sorting Hat, so Mrs Braham will put them in the most appropriate house. During the assembly, the children will be making a house collage to go on display in the hall. If you have anything we could use on our collage, please send it in to school with your child on Tuesday 18th September. Paper, tissue, glitter, card, feathers, glitter, cellophane, glitter, serviettes, any glitter? felt, thin fabric or glitter would be very acceptable in either blue, purple, yellow, red, or green. If you have anything else you think might be useful we would love to see it. Many Thanks.
