Non uniform day next Thursday!
Jackson Pollock
On Tuesday 26th July the children will be painting a VERY LARGE CANVAS in the style of Jackson Pollock. The painting will be on display at 3.10pm. You will be very welcome to come along and have a look.
The only slight snag.....is that the canvases haven't arrived yet! although they should be here by Monday.
If you are going to make a special trip to Alderton you would be well advised to phone the school first to find out if the activity has gone ahead. We will keep the children well informed of any developments on the canvas front!
Reports and Open Evening
Your child's report will be sent home on Thursday 12th July. There will be an 'Open Evening' at both bases for parents and children to visit, view the displays and look through available work. Should you wish to discuss any aspects of the report please phone the office on the 13th July to arrange an appointment for the 16th July. Y2 parents are very welcome to visit their child's new classroom at the Alderton Base and meet the staff.
Cake Sale
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who supported this event. The Y6 children were magnificent cake sellers and managed to raise £63.10 for 'SHARE' at their Cathedral Service today.
Swimming Gala
Our crack squad are all ready and looking forward to Wednesday. We would like to wish them all the best as they represent Oak Hill at this cluster event.

Booster Seats
On Monday 2nd July the Y2 children will be transported from Alderton after their move up morning. If anyone can lend a booster seat for that journey, the transporting parents would be very grateful. Please contact the school office for more details.
Oak Hill Summer Concert Tuesday 3rd July
The afternoon performance will begin at 2pm and the evening performance will begin at 6.30pm. See you there.
