WILDLIFE TALK

The children thoroughly enjoyed Nick Williams’ wildlife talk and fantastic photos.  He has left a few photos for those who may have forgotten their money - £1 each - from the school office.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DANCE FESTIVAL GIRLS who performed again on Tuesday for the rest of the school.

Mrs Braham and Mrs Gill organised a fabulous party for the girls at the end of the school day on Tuesday as a special thank you for all their hard work and wonderful dancing.

BOOK FAIR COMPETITION WINNERS

Book Fair competition winners from each year will be announced at Tuesday’s 11.45 am Assembly.  The winners from each year will be able to choose a book as their prize.

KNEX CHALLENGE

Unfortunately Alex and Tom  will not be able to participate in the KNEX final as they will be in Georgeham for the residential activities week.

Well done, boys, for doing so well in the first challenge.

EASTER SERVICE

The children will be attending an Easter Service at St Margaret’s Church in Alderton from 2.30 – 3.00 pm on Tuesday 25 March.  We would be delighted if parents could join us in our celebration of Easter.

NATURE QUIZ

Well done to the Nature Quiz team who did very well in the competition against St James’ School in Chipping Campden this week.  They narrowly missed winning by one point but may well be invited back into the competition due to their high score.

BOOK FAIR

The Book Fair will be open on Monday 17 March and Tuesday 18 March at the end of the school day until 4.00 pm in the Hall at the Junior base.  The Infant children will have the opportunity to buy books on Tuesday at the end of the school day.  Any Infants who will be travelling home on the school bus on Tuesday can bring money and the teachers will help them to choose a book after the 11.45 am assembly.   The school will receive 100% commission from any sales.

ALDERTON ACORNS EASTER EGG HUNT

The Alderton Acorns Easter Egg Hunt will be on Sunday 16 March from 2.00 – 4.00 pm in Alderton playing fields.  Come and hunt for 24 eggs hidden in all sorts of places and when you’ve found them you’ll get a prize!  Refreshments for sale and an Easter raffle. Everyone welcome, £1.50 per child to take part.

SPORTS RELIEF

We are delighted to say that some of our pupils are taking part in Sports Relief activities.  They  will be running (in pairs) around the field 7 times (equivalent to 1 mile) to raise money.
