PLAY TIMES

The KS2 children would be very grateful for any surplus Lego.  If anyone could help, please send in to the Junior base.

SAINSBURY’S VOUCHERS

We are, once again, taking part in Sainsbury’s Active Kids campaign.  This is a great way for us to gain invaluable equipment for the children at no extra cost to the school.

Last year you helped us to collect an amazing 3996 Active Kids vouchers.

This year’s campaign runs from 14 February to 4 June.  You will receive 1 voucher for every £10 spent in store or on-line, with a bonus voucher for every £10 spent on fresh fruit and vegetables displaying the healthy apple symbol.

Please spread the word to family, friends, neighbours and colleagues!  Vouchers can be sent in to either base.

Winchcombe Radio

You will be able to hear the recording of the children on Friday 25 April 9.15 am, 87.7 FM (next to Radio 288 FM).

DANCE FESTIVAL REHEARSAL

A reminder that the next rehearsal will be on the first Monday after the half-term break – 25 February.

Wildlife Talk

Mr Nick Williams will be visiting on Tuesday 11 March to talk to the KS1 and KS2 children and will be showing his fascinating photos.

The Infants will spend the day at the Junior base as Mr Williams will be starting his talk early in the morning.  The children can be brought to the Junior base or can travel on the school bus.

Wildlife photos can be bought on the day – £1 each or 3 for £2.50.

CONGRATULATIONS

Many congratulations to Alex  and Thomas  who won the K’nex Challenge.  They will go on to the next stage of the competition, which will be held in March.
